Come and watch Concussion’s first 7s Tournament and help us fundraise for hosting Champs! We’re going to have a ton of derby with 8 teams competing in 15 games, only $15 or ONE DOLLAR PER GAME, what a steal! We’ll have beer, a food cart, merch, and lots of great people to hang out with while you watch. We hope to see you there!

Make your fellowships of 7 and embark on an epic quest to help Concussion Roller Derby raise funds for hosting MRDA Championships while competing against 7 other teams in a double elimination bracketed tournament!
What is a 7s tournament? A 7s tournament, in a nutshell, cuts normal flat track roller derby in half.
– Rosters are made up of 7 skaters (Teams can have 0-2 alts, for a charter up to 9)
– Games are a single 21 minute period
– Skaters foul out at 4 penalties
– Each team has 1 timeout per game, which can be used as an official review
– Typically 7 teams participate in the tournament, in this case we have 8 for an even bracket
Fellowship of the Skates details:
Who: WFTDA/MRDA ruleset, open gender, must be 18 or older.
When: Saturday, June 21st (all day)
Where: Cherry City Madhouse, 1335 Madison St NE, Salem OR 97301
-$200 fee per team
-All teams are guaranteed a minimum of two games.
-Teams must register by May 24th
-Teams will be selected by May 31st
-Fun team themes, including but not limited to fantasy, are encouraged! (e.g. Wraiths on Wheels, Shire Shiners)
-Tickets will be sold to spectators ($15 )
-Tournament be will be livestreamed on Concussion’s youtube channel
Teams will be selected based on a variety of criteria for the optimal tournament, including skill level, but all skill levels are welcome. We are aiming to have the most compelling tournament and even gameplay possible.
As a special host league rule, the Concussion Roller Derby A charter skaters will be limited to 3 per team, to encourage diverse team formation.
